Available in 4 sizes ranging from 15–44 yd3/hr, these compact plants are designed for easy set-up, low operating cost and optimal concrete quality. We've retained all the critical aspects of accuracy, reliability, and efficiency from our larger MobilMat plants and designed them into a smaller, more cost effective package we call the SmartMix.
SmartMix is the economical way for the small producer to make professional grade concrete. SmartMix concrete mixing plants arrive on site pre-wired, pre-plumbed and factory tested. The plug and play feature is what makes SmartMix truly stand out. They are so easy to set-up that they can be up and running within three days of installation. SmartMix allows users to achieve super fast 80-second batch cycles for conventional concrete, including batching, charging a mixer, mixing and discharge. This delivers a maximum output of 45 concrete batches per hour with continuous production. The SmartMix concrete batch plant has a positive, accumulative aggregate weighing system providing ultra precise batching and all batch components (aggregate, admixtures, and cement) can be pre-weighed and ready while another batch is mixing.
The SmartMix features the industry leading Wiggert HPGM planetary counter current mixer for the ultimate high intensity mixing action available on the market. The HPGM mixer has a reliable hydraulic discharge gate and the option for an additional discharge gate to serve another production line. Batch water is added volumetrically through a precision flow meter and can accept the optional use of a HYDROMAT microwave moisture probe or the recycling of reclaimed wash water back into the batch The SmartMix concrete batch plant also comes standard with ACT's Programmable Control System (PCS) which is factory pre-installed directly onto the mixer platform for maximum ease of set-up. The PC is industrial grade and has the capability to store up to 1,000 recipes, keep records of every batch ever made, and to integrate plant administration, production, material ordering, consumption monitoring, process supervision, costing and maintenance information in one efficient control system. Optionally, the control system can be selected for ground installation into customer's control room. Other simpler, basic control system choices are available at a lower cost.
The SmartMix concrete mixing plant is well suited for a wide variety of production needs including precast, dry cast and architectural product production. It is also ideal for onsite concrete mixing since it is portable. The entire unit can be transported on a single truck bed (not including cement silos).
SmartMix is available in four convenient sizes and comes standard with two aggregate bins with an option of up to four. The bins are designed to be loaded with a small front-end loader.
